1st and 2nd July 2023 – 09:30-1700 – £140.00 plus materials – BOOK NOW
Kate is a Forest of Dean based enamel artist of 16 years, and when she thinks of her work and relationship with this ancient art form the words magical, mystical, unpredictable, absorbing, and transforming all come to mind.
She leans towards the more experimental approaches pushing the materials and tools further pursuing unique results.
Her work is focussed on creating pieces of work that can be hung in the home but it all started with jewellery and that is where she goes to play with the techniques.
Most of her work involves the wet packing, stencilling, sgraffito, adding decorative media and high firing techniques all of which will be covered in the workshop.
